5 THINGS TO ORGANIZE IN YOUR ENTRYWAY

Updated: Jan 19, 2020

A clean and organized entryway is essential. It is never fun being in a rush and looking for the car keys under a huge pile of papers. To avoid an awkward situation like that just organize your entryway like keep your by-the-door items to a minimum and do not use this area as a dump. Once you have established your own system, keep training yourself and others to respect your home and your system. It's that easy.

KEYS

The main priority are the keys. To keep them safe and easy to reach just choose from the following options.

Tray or Bowl

Key Rack

Magnetic Key Rack

Hook

THE SHOE RACK

Shoes can't be thrown around the entryway. Not just because it is not a nice view but it still can be dangerous. Imagine, you make a bad move and your ankle can hurt easily. That is something that no one wants, so to keep you safe and tidy here are some ideas to keep your shoes organized.

Tray

Cubbies

Basket

Storage Bench

YOUR MAIL

Incoming and outgoing letters can get lost easily if you do not have a well organized station for them. Wall organizer, divided drawer etc. can be really helpful to handle a mail situation.

LABELS

We all had been told do not label each other, and that is right, but you need to label your baskets to feel like a professional organizer. If you have a closet that is the best thing you can do for yourself to label baskets where you keep your things. Labels can include your family members names so the given box belongs to Nancy or Derek, or just keep it simple like light bulbs, hats and gloves, doggy stuff, etc.

JUNK DRAWER

We all know about that drawer which is full of the most important things of our lives. There is a torch, matches, keys, batteries, pens, etc. in it. Wouldn't it be better if you could just pull it out and grab what you have been looking for? If the answer is yes, than you should organize like a pro.
